Welcome to The Hardings

After many years of 'thinking' about producing a web site, I thought I'd finally give it a go, after all how difficult could it be? hopefully quite easy with all the latest tools available.

Although this is really for my own 'pleasure' some of the contents here may prove useful to someone.... perhaps you!! My main aim is to provide something that is used by others (for what ever reason) which is simple and has a little humour.

I'll have to consider this a 'work in progress' as I doubt I will ever complete it.

So what crap do you put on your first web site? well what I won't do is upload photos of myself and family, there's enough horror in the world without me adding to it.

I would like to try and have a 'What's New' section possibly a 'What's Happening' section, a 'Did You Know' section and even a Ramblings section, but the problem I expect I'll have is keeping it updated. Perhaps I'll try and commit to doing something monthly.... hmm 12 times a year, perhaps that will be too much, after all I am inherently lazy!

LINKS... a good idea, I'll include links to all my normal sites, well most at least (I might offend someone), and others I think will be useful. These will be expanded over time to become 'Hairy Goat Listings' (a daft idea I had many moons ago), Contributions here would be welcome.

I seem to think of new things for Hairy Goat on a regular basis, so keep coming back to check out the latest offerings.

I suppose a contact section as well, god knows why, I don't read all the emails I get now, but you never know... it might stop me playing games and start doing something classified as useful. Perhaps learn to spell and not rely on a spell checker. 

You know, the more I play around with this the easier it becomes and it's a lot more satisfying than using facebook. How many of your friends actualy read or comment on your status. By posting something here I can say what I want without fear of repercussion (thank you spell checker) and be ignored by so many more people.
